Keeping it simple(r)!

In their February 2016 issue, Asia Insurance Review interviewed Eric Hui, Chief Executive Officer for Zurich's General Insurance business in Hong Kong. He shared his thoughts and methods of innovation in seizing new opportunities. With customer-centricity at the core of our business model, making the insurance process simpler for our customers is a top priority. One of the ways in which Zurich attempts to do this is through facilitating the claims process, through the Zurich HK mobile app.

Zurich also provides ease to customers through our FlexiCare Group Medical Insurance Plan which allows employees to choose their own benefits through our mobile app and have better control over their own employee benefits. The plan just won the "Best Employee Insurance Provider Award" at "HR Vendor of the Year 2015" .

Eric also acknowledged the importance of innovation in relation to our customers. Through consistent engagement with our Customer Experience and Proposition Development team, we learn market demands and insights to come up with innovative solutions in meeting consumer needs. With more fluidity between the digital and offline space, customers feel comfortable using the former with regards to their insurance needs, provided there is a risk-free environment. With the incentive to provide customers with the best possible outcome, as well as to remain sustainable in the insurance market, we target answering the needs of customers through these innovative approaches.
