Zurich sponsors Asian Amateur Championship in golf for the 7th
year

October 2015 is a month filled with golf events for Zurich. The
Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) was held for the first
time in Hong Kong during 1-4 October 2015 at the Clearwater Bay
Golf & Country Club. Zurich has been a proud partner of the
event since its inaugural year in 2009.
The AAC, which featured 120 of the best golfers from the 39
Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation affiliated organizations, is
considered an elite event by the World Amateur Golf Ranking in
that those who reach the final stage is eligible to be ranked.
The championship has also produced a number of alumni that have
made names for themselves on professional tours internationally.
The event concluded on 4 October 2015 with the final round
canceled due to the typhoon weather. Jin Cheng, the 17-year-old
player from China won the championship for 2015. He is the
second Chinese player to lift the trophy in AAC.
Alongside with the AAC, Zurich also hosted a golf-outing on 2
October 2015 to share the love of golf and had a friendly play
at the Shek O Country & Golf Club. The golf-outing was held on a
beautiful day with a group of prestige Zurich guests from
Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Hong Kong.
On 26 October 2015, Zurich once again expressed their love for
golf by organizing an outing with Zurich's golf ambassador
Justin Rose, who had just won the UBS Hong Kong Open 2015 in the
previous week. Zurich's staff and top clientele took part in
this friendly golf-outing at the Shek O Golf & Country Club and
received valuable golf tips from Justin.
